This coming Sunday is a big day for our community. It is the inaugural Giving Day and we will be turning to you our members and friends to support the community enabling us to continue our forward trajectory. The Rebbetzin and I have had the great privilege of being at South Caulfield Shule for over a year now and it has been a wonderful experience. We have achieved a lot already with your help but here is still so much to be done and we cannot do it without you!

Shule’s today are our Bet Hamikdash. When one thinks about all that occurred during the times when we were blessed with the Holy Temple one notices how much the running of the Holy activities relied on the community. From the offerings to the support of the Kohanim (Priests) it was very much a communal effort. Today is no different. For us to continue providing the services, functions and activities, all in a user-friendly and safe environment, we need the collective strength of everyone’s support.

This Sunday please assist us by either (or all of the following) contributing to our 24 hour matching campaign, come along to help us make calls or help us spread the message to your friends and family.

I look forward to us reaching beyond our expected goals and I thank you in advance for your help. May Hashem bless you and remember that we our sages teach us that this is the one area in which we can test God. By giving charity and supporting community organisations Hashem promises to repay handsomely!
